Sustainability

We are passionate about nature and conserving and being good stewards of the wondrous gifts that we have been entrusted. This means that environmental awareness and sustainability are core tenets of our lives, and thus by extension of our business.  We believe it is vital to deploy sustainable practices throughout our process and we are on the journey to being certified as organic growers. 

We currently employ herbicide-free farming and the results are not only beneficial to the environment — we have also seen extremely high quality and healthy fruit. We have also expanded our organic farming program to include: organic fertilizers and minimal impact fungicides; as well as newer practices like the use of non-chemical herbicides and fish in our reservoirs to control the algae and the addition of some brand new organic practices, such as pheromones, for controlling the Lobesia moth. 

And we are constantly evaluating additional organic and biodynamic practices. 

We are determined to preserve the natural habitat and continue to enjoy the proliferation of fauna that frequent these beautiful lands. For after all, we are all one with nature.
