Our Story

Elemental Wines is a family owned boutique wine producer.  Our goal is simple: to produce outstanding terroir driven wines from our base in Argentina and with great partner winemakers in Tuscany and Priorat.

Luciane and I are passionate explorers, finding great pleasure from visiting the far flung regions of the world. Our travels over the years have led us to many of the great wine producing regions. As avid wine enthusiasts, what could be better than sharing the joys of the earth’s bounty in beautiful settings with someone you love?

And somewhere along the journeys we’ve been blessed to experience, a dream began to take shape. One which would lead us to producing our own wines, set against some truly amazing backdrops and in collaboration with some truly wonderful people. Thus Elemental Wines was born of the hopes and shared dreams of working with incredible people in different locations in the world.

The year was 2017, and having previously visited the Mendoza region of Argentina, we were super excited at the prospect of exploring some potential vineyards and vineyard locations. Our connection to the earth and the people of the region was instantaneous, and our love for the food and wine immediate. 

Having visited a few locations which weren’t quite perfect, we crossed a stream, climbed over the horizon and there it was… The most incredible vista — wild land set close to some already established vineyards — framed by the majestic snow-capped Andes cordillera. We knew instantly that we were home, and so the journey began…

A short while later and a second vineyard was purchased, and in 2020 our first vintage was born. The journey has been so incredibly gratifying.

And so the journey continues, with our most recent foray into other great wine regions of the world. With our passion for wine and travel, we decided to start producing wine with partner winemakers in Spain and Italy respectively, with our first vintages produced in Priorat, Catalunya and in the Montalcino, Tuscany. 

And so it was, that a passion for great food and wine, shared with family and friends, brought us to the Uco Valley — a land forged by the elements at the foot of the Andes. And the same passion carried us to the historic regions of Priorat and Montalcino. We pay homage to all those who have helped capture the essence of place in our wines, and we honor those who nurtured the expression of our dreams. May you treasure this sense of place, and those you share it with, as much as we do.
